Women's Tennis Concludes Fall Play at Wofford Fall Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Radford women's tennis program concluded their fall schedule Sunday afternoon at the Wofford Fall Invite, a tournament that spanned back to last Friday.

On Friday rain impacted play and only a select number of doubles matches were able to be played. Salma Loudili and Melisaa Ifidzhen picked up a strong 6-1 victory over Furman and were the only pairing of Highlanders able to play.

On Saturday, Radford picked up another doubles win as Malin Falk and Emily Brandow took down Gardner-Webb 6-3. Later that day the pairing was able to advance to the finals of the White bracket by outlasting Presbyterian in a 7-5 victory. Falk would go on to cruise in singles play as well with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Emory.

Camryn McClure also picked up a 7-6(4), 3-6, 1-0(6) win over Emory. Loudili also rebounded in the afternoon of singles play with a 2-6, 6-3, 1-0(7) win over Arkansas State.

Play would conclude on Sunday with Falk collecting another singles victory this time 6-1, 2-6, 1-0(8) over Presbyterian. Brandow also picked up a win against Presbyterian in straight sets 7-5, 7-5.
