Radford University celebrates student achievements in weekend commencement ceremonies

Radford, VA (05/04/2024) — Radford University concluded its commencement ceremonies today, celebrating the academic achievements of approximately 1,400 graduates. The ceremonies, held on both Friday evening and Saturday, honored the hard work and dedication of students who have successfully completed their degree programs.

The undergraduate commencement ceremony, held on Moffett Lawn on Saturday, saw the participation of nearly 1,100 students. More than 300 students participated in Friday evening's undergraduate ceremony, highlighting the diversity and breadth of talent among Radford's graduating class.

Among the graduating cohort are 353 first-generation graduates, marking a significant milestone in their families' educational journeys. The class boasted a wide age range, with the youngest graduate being 19 years old and the oldest 69. Additionally, the commencement ceremonies celebrated the accomplishments of five sets of twins, adding a unique touch to the festivities.

Radford University extends its heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and wishes them success and fulfillment in their future endeavors.
