MEDIA INVITATION: Radford University Winter Commencement Events Scheduled

Radford, VA (12/09/2022) — Radford University will celebrate nearly 700 students during winter commencement with ceremonies December 9 and 10.

The College of Graduate Studies will host a hooding ceremony for students receiving masters and doctoral degrees at 5 p.m. Friday, December 9, in the Dedmon Center, 101 University Drive, Radford, Virginia. The ceremony includes all graduate programs at Radford University main campus, RUC (Radford University-Carilion), RHEC (Roanoke Higher Education Center) and Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center.

The undergraduate graduation ceremony is set to begin at 10 a.m. in the Dedmon Center.

Nicole Robinson, a 2002 alumna of Radford University is the invited guest speaker for both ceremonies. Robinson is the president of Ursa Space Systems, a leading satellite intelligence and data analytics provider leveraging a global virtual constellation of satellites. In her role, she is responsible for accelerating the company's growth globally while optimizing operations.
