MEDIA INVITATION: Radford University Winter Commencement Ceremony Scheduled
Undergraduate senior from RUC and RU will graduate together for the first time ever.
Radford, VA (12/07/2021) — Radford University will celebrate winter commencement with a ceremony that, for the first time ever, combines graduating seniors from main campus and RUC-Radford University Carilion.
What: Winter commencement ceremony for Radford University and Radford University Carilion undergraduates
Who: Interim President Carolyn Ringer Lepre, Ph.D., will confer degrees.
Families and students will be available.
Alumnus Brian Robinson is the special guest speaker. Robinson graduated from Radford University in 1993 with a bachelor of arts in finance. In 2012, he completed London Business School's Corporate Finance Program. Robinson is head of Prime Brokerage Sales for the Americas. He is on the Board of Advisors for Launch With GS, a $1 billion investment strategy which aims to increase access to capital and facilitate connections for women, Black, Latinx, and other diverse entrepreneurs and investors. Brian is also lead sponsor for the Global Markets Black Analyst Initiative and a member of the Global Markets Inclusion and Diversity Committee.
