Media Advisory: Radford University to dedicate Virginia Credit Union Financial Success Center

Radford, VA (09/14/2026) — Radford University will dedicate the new Virginia Credit Union Financial Success Center on Thursday, Sept. 17, recognizing a partnership focused on strengthening financial well-being for students, the university community and residents throughout the New River and Roanoke valleys.

Virginia Credit Union provided a $2.5 million gift to establish the center, which is housed within the Davis College of Business and Economics. The center will offer financial education, one-on-one coaching, workshops and other programming focused on practical skills such as budgeting, saving, credit building, managing student loans and preparing for major financial milestones.

The dedication will be open to the Radford University community.
