Media Advisory: Radford University move-in begins today
Radford, VA (08/21/2024) — Radford University faculty and staff will welcome students to campus starting Wednesday, Aug. 15, for the first of three Move-in Days. This is a Highlander tradition to welcome our students for the new academic year. The most students are anticipated to move in Friday, Aug. 23.
Who: Radford University and Radford University Carilion students, faculty, staff and student volunteers will welcome first-year students and returning students and help them move into residence halls.
What: Radford University and Radford University Carilion Move-In Days
When: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Aug. 20, 21 and 22, 2024 (The best day is Friday for photo and video opportunities.) RUC Move-In is on Thursday only.
Where: Radford University campus, all residence halls; Radford University Carilion, The Patrick Henry
Move-In Day is the start of an exciting semester at Radford University and the beginning of several days of activities designed to help new and returning students become acclimated to campus, learn a little more about student life and meet new friends.
