Media Advisory: Radford Community Fest unites city and campus for a day of celebration

Radford, VA (08/20/2025) — Radford Community Fest is a free community celebration featuring over 100 local vendors, food trucks, live music, street performers and community engagement along East Main Street in downtown Radford. All are welcome including families, students, community members, university employees and regional guests.

WHEN: Saturday, August 23, 2025 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

WHERE: East Main Street, Radford, Virginia

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Over 100 local vendors showcasing crafts, artwork, goods and services
  • Food trucks offering a variety of tasty eats for all tastes
  • A chance to explore and support downtown merchants

Live music on the main stage throughout the day, including performances by:

  • Sky Dolphin
  • PHAT LACES
  • The Domino Band
  • Crawford & Power
  • Street performers and entertainment by Fluidity Performance Troupe

WHO: Presented by the City of Radford and Radford University, this annual event invites Radford community members, university students, employees and regional visitors to come together in celebration
