HAPPENING TODAY: Radford University Interior Design Students to Present Community-Focused Concepts for Downtown Revitalization

RADFORD, VA (04/29/2025) —

What:
Revitalizing Radford: A Retail & Business Design Charrette
Radford University Interior Design Senior students will present their design proposals for two available commercial properties in Radford's east-side downtown corridor. The community is invited to view innovative Retail & Business Design concepts, as well as Restaurant Design ideas developed for the 103 3rd Ave location.

When:
Tuesday, April 29, 2025
6 - 7:30 p.m.

Where:
1085 East Main Street, Radford, VA

Details:
In collaboration with Taylor Hollow Management, students engaged in a semester-long project imagining new uses for underutilized commercial spaces in the City of Radford. Their proposals aim to inspire revitalization and attract businesses to the area. The event will include design displays, student presentations and light refreshments.
